Just purchased my copy of the a320 (it's been a long-time coming) and was wonderinh how I get access to the great cabin I've heard do much about? Someone sugested I have to open the cockpit door but I can`t seem to open it whereby it is allowing me to walk around back there

You have to flip the switch on the pedestal in order to be able to open the door to the cabin.

Don't know about walking around through the cabin though. Pretty sure you need some additional software for that.

You have to unlock the door, as mentioned the switch is on the pedestal

Then click on the door to open it

Thanks for the prompt response guys. I have now registered for tech support. I am assuming that I need to be in VC mode in order to view the cabin? When I do use VC, I am able to scroll over  a prompt that says "open/clode the door" but when I double-click (or simply scroll over) nothing happens? I even tried to right-click and still to no avail? I use Active Camera so I am not sure that needs to be diabled or not? I should add I no issues with the cockpit and I am able to turn on the lights etc.. but right-clicking? Please help?

Thanks!

Hi,

I just tested this on the advanced and it should work exactly the same on the basic.

I hovered the mouse over the cockpit door switch on the centre console, I then held down the left mouse button and dragged the switch forward, an Amber 'open' light displayed next to the switch and I was able to open the flight deck door.

Btw I also use active camera combined with trackIR. perfect for moving around the flight deck and cabin so no need to disable it.

I use the scroll-button on my mouse on a lot of switches. I believe it also works on this button. So hover over the switch and scroll up or down to flip the switch up or down.

Hi,

It sounds like you have not activated the product through the tablet PC.
