The bird goes into Final Testing shortly.
Next, there will be Final Previews (when ready)
Next, there will be Release

This is the status as of today!

Fantastic news that she's almost ready :D looking forward to seeing some new screenshots / final previews! I assume the final testing won't be a long process due to your internal testing and extended team efforts? Guess I better get saving for this beauty B)

I'm not sure if it's so excellent news. Sounds that AS doesn't have anything to tell like the last status update that came late and didn't have much to tell....

Nik says the bird is going into final testing soon which would mean the bird is nearly completed if not already done. The final testing will no doubt just be fixing small bugs I guess therefore theres no real reason for an update, particularly if there planning on releasing it soon.

He also said several months ago they were on the finish line. This time I hope he is correct.

Sound's like good news to me. Seem's like an eternity waiting for the 'bus' but now I think I'm close to having it in my hanger!

It is very sad to see comments like "Why is it taking so long?" and "They have nothing good to say, everything must be the same." Especially since if AS released an unrealistic, buggy aircraft, these people would be the first to complain "xxx does not work right." or "Why were the bugs not fixed during the testing period?"

You must understand how complex this aircraft is. AS have built this thing from the ground up, with no compromises. And they are determined to get it right with the A320. People are comparing AS to PMDG and Level-D, and how awful would it be to have their entire reputation destroyed because they released an unfinished aircraft. CaptainSim is making some quality airplanes now, but most simmers would never buy a CS product because of their reputation for resource-hungry, buggy aircraft. Would you want Airsimmer to be the next Wilco or CaptainSim? I certainly do not hope so, as I doubt that we would never see the FSX version of the A320, let alone an A330 or A340.

Please, be patient. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes with the Extended Team and the Test Team, and we all can't wait to show it to you. Airsimmer really have a winner with the A320, and we want the entire community to share that view, not just the Testing Teams.
